Buchanan (Muted) Macgregor Hastie

your tartan, your story
Clan Buchanan, one of Scotland’s oldest Highland clans, traces its origins to the shores of Loch Lomond and possibly to Anselan O Kyan, an Irish prince said to have arrived in Scotland in 1016, though modern research suggests a Brittonic ancestry. By the 13th century, the Buchanans had firmly established themselves in Stirlingshire, with Sir Absalon of Buchanan receiving lands from the Earl of Lennox.
