We are not obliged to accept your order and reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order once it has been placed. This possibly may be done, for example, if:
your payment is not authorised or has been marked as fraudulent by our payment system
payment has been made using a card not issued in a country we dispatch to, or does not match the billing address;
there is an error on the website regarding the price or description of a product
you have requested a tartan that we do not stock or are unable to source
By placing an order with us you are confirming that any information you have given is true and accurate and that you have full authorisation to use the payment method.
All prices are in pounds sterling and include any relevant VAT rate.
The prices shown on the Website for made to order tartan trews include delivery worldwide, by Royal Mail, UPS, DPD or by standard postal services.
Prices are subject to change. In the event of a change in prices, these will not affect any order which has been paid for and agreed.
The term “we” means Gunn & Grant Tartan Trews the owner and operator of the website (the “Website”) whose office is Unit 10, 48 Learmonth Avenue, Edinburgh EH4 1HT (references to “Gunn & Grant”, “us” and “our” mean Gunn and Grant Tartan Trews).
The term “you” or the “customer” refers to the customer, viewer or user of our Website.
Placing an order
We aim to ensure that information about products on the website is as accurate as possible. However, we cannot be held responsible for any errors or inaccuracies.
All tartans are subject to availability, which is subject to change. Images of tartans and products shown on the Website, and colours shown are reproduced as accurately as technology allows, but may not always represent the exact image or colour of the final product.
We reserve the right to change the specifications of products as necessary, or to conform with any changes in UK or EU requirements.
So that we are able to produce for you a high quality pair of tartan trews, you agree to provide us with your exact measurements. We provide a detailed measuring guide on the website. You agree to follow the guidance provided as you will be responsible for the final measurements submitted. If any of the information you submit in relation to sizing or tartan choice is found to be erroneous or you change your mind after placing an order, there may be an additional charge to meet these changes. If you want the change to go ahead, you will have to cover these additional costs.
Best Fit Promise
Gunn & Grant provide a comprehensive measuring guide and will make your tartan trews to your exact specifications. If your trews need any alterations after you receive them, Gunn & Grant will reimburse you up to £25. Receipts for any alterations must be kept and you must contact Gunn & Grant within 21 days of receiving your trews to take advantage of this offer.
We endeavour to meet our standard turnaround and dispatch time of 3-5 weeks. This time may vary depending on the current order volume and cloth availability.
Delivery is made to the address that you specify. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is at the address and is available to take delivery of the package.
The customer is obliged to check that the address provided to Gunn & Grant is correct. If no one is available when the delivery is attempted, the courier may leave the parcel outside or with a neighbour. In such instances Gunn & Grant will not be held liable for any theft, loss or damage of the package.
For delivery to countries outside the EU any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Gunn & Grant have no control over these charges and can not advise as to what they might be, as charges vary significantly from country to country.
Gunn & Grant Tartan Trews are a made to order custom product and as such you will not be covered by the Distance Selling Regulations 2013. Therefore you will not be entitled to an automatic refund by law.
In the unlikely event of a manufacturing fault, we will require you to return the garment to us for inspection. We are not liable for defects resulting from the customer not following the care instructions. We shall maintain you have had fair use if 6 months passes from the time you receive the product to the time we receive a return, and as such we will not be liable for defects.
Fraud Prevention Policy
As part of our anti-fraud measures any refunds issued either as goodwill or for faulty goods will be processed and returned via the original payment method.
