Grant (1714 Tartan)

your tartan, your story
The Grant 1714 tartan is a historically inspired design based on early 18th-century Highland attire, notably described in a 1704 muster order and depicted in Richard Waitt’s 1714 portraits of Clan Grant figures. Reconstructed in 2023 by tartan historian Peter MacDonald for the 34th Chief, Sir Michael Grant of Grant, it features bold red and green tones and is one of the earliest clan tartans revived from visual evidence, linking modern craftsmanship with ancestral pride.
