Hepburn (Muted)

your tartan, your story
Originating in Northumberland, the family rose to prominence in East Lothian after Adam de Hepburn was granted lands for saving the Earl of March from a wild horse. The Hepburns became Lords of Hailes and later Earls of Bothwell, with James Hepburn, 4th Earl of Bothwell, famously marrying Mary, Queen of Scots.
