Leslie Red (Ancient)

your tartan, your story
Clan Leslie traces its origins to Bartolf (or Bartholomew), a Hungarian noble who arrived in Scotland in 1067 as part of Princess Margaret’s retinue. After marrying Princess Beatrix, sister of King Malcolm III, Bartolf was granted lands in Fife, Angus, and Aberdeenshire, and appointed Governor of Edinburgh Castle.
