The MacLaren's traditional lands are in Balquhidder, Strathearn, and surrounding areas in Perthshire, often referred to as "MacLaren Country." The clan's name is believed to originate from Abbot Labhran (Laurence) of Achtow, who lived in the 13th century.

how ordering trews works
Choose a tartan. We have over 250 available. Take some simple measurements. If you don't have a tape measure, order a tartan sample and measuring pack. This includes a measuring guide and a tape.

Place your order and after checkout, email us with your measurements. Make sure to include your order number.
Sit back and relax. Once you receive your trews, if you need any adjustments, we can reimburse the cost of alterations.
