The Clan Macpherson is a historic Highland Scottish clan whose roots lie in Badenoch, where they formed part of the ancient Chattan Confederation. Traditionally descended from Muireach (or Murdoch), a 12th‑century priest—hence the name “Mac a’ Phearsain,” meaning son of the parson—the clan became known for its warrior tradition and strong leadership during key moments of Scottish history, including the Jacobite risings.

how ordering trews works
Choose a tartan. We have over 250 available. Take some simple measurements. If you don't have a tape measure, order a tartan sample and measuring pack. This includes a measuring guide and a tape.
Place your order and after checkout, email us with your measurements. Make sure to include your order number.
Sit back and relax. Once you receive your trews, if you need any adjustments, we can reimburse the cost of alterations.
