Sutherland (Hunting Ancient)

your tartan, your story
The Sutherland's ancestral lands lie in the far north of Scotland, in the county of Sutherland. The clan traces its origins to Freskin, a Flemish nobleman granted lands in Moray by King David I, whose descendants became the powerful Earls of Sutherland. The name itself comes from the Norse term Sudrland, meaning “southern land.”
